Penza, 7 May 2015. PenzaNews. Vadim Bogatskov, former chairman of the municipal committee for physical culture, sports and youth policy, took over as executive director of the Penza hockey club “Diesel,” performing in the Supreme Hockey League.

“He was appointed on May 5,” the “Diesel” press service informed PenzaNews agency on Thursday, May 7.

The former head of “Diesel” Dmitry Koryagin left the team after the official season final in the Russian professional hockey leagues on April 30. The head coach Andrei Sidorenko, sports operations manager Evgeny Obydin and 24 players left the club along with Koryagin.

Vadim Bogatskov vacated the post of city sports committee chairman in summer 2014. According to information posted on the website of the regional Cycling Federation, he is now heading the organization.
