Penza, 19 May 2015. PenzaNews. The former defenseman of the Penza hockey club “Diesel” Sergei Kuznetsov moved to the Continental Hockey League club “Sochi.”

“The player was invited for a meeting and signed up for a trial agreement. Now he will train in the southern team’s camp,” the press service of “Sochi” club informed PenzaNews agency.
Last season, Sergei Kuznetsov was involved in 49 matches for “Diesel,” including 13 in play-offs, and earned a total of 12 (4+8) points at utility level of +1.
The defenseman left the Penza club after the date of Russian professional hockey league season end, April 30.
Among those who left the club at the same time as him are its executive director Dmitry Koryagin, head coach Andrei Sidorenko, sports events manager Evgeny Obydin, and 23 more players.
Sergei Kuznetsov was born on January 5, 1991, and studied hockey in “Mechel” club of Chelyabinsk.
He is a defenseman, 191 cm tall, and weighs 79 kilograms.
