Penza, 16 June 2015. PenzaNews. The athletes from Penza won eight medals of various kinds on the final day of the finals in the 7th summer school students Gymnastics Spartakiad that was held at “Burtasy” sports palace until Monday, June 15.

Natalya Kapitonova performed under the standards for the masters of sports and won two bronze medals, in beam and free exercises. She also earned the third place in bar exercises.

Moreover, the young athlete shared the second place on the pedestal for the winners in vault with Ulyana Perebinosova, and Anastasiya Budylkina from Voronezh.

Earlier, Natalya Kapitonova became an unrivaled winner of the event by winning the multidiscipline competition for the masters of sports over the span of two days.

The team competition saw the Penza group of Natalya Kapitonova, Ulyana Perebinosova, Elizaveta Volodina and Karina Zybaylo reach the second position.

In men’s competitions for the masters of sports candidates, Ildar Yuskaev earned a silver medal in pommel horse, while another silver was won by Artem Arnaut in horizontal bar routine. The first-class gymnast Oleg Stupkin ended up third in vault.
