Penza, 25 June 2015. PenzaNews. A championship of the EMERCOM department for the Volga Federal District and the competition of the VFD volunteer firement skill competition began in Penza on Thursday, June 25.

The citizens are invited to “Pervomaisky” stadium to attend the competitions of professional firemen and teenage volunteers free of charge.

The first day of the event includes such tests as men’s and women’s obstacle race and fire ladder climbing for teenagers.

On Friday, June 26, men will compete in firemen biathlon, women will show their skills in fire ladder climbing, and teenagers will test themselves in obstacle race.

On Saturday, June 27, men will compete in fire ladded climbing, while men and teenagers will also take part in an obstacle race.

On the final day of the competition, June 28, the participants will compete in fire deployment, followed by team results.

The closing ceremony is scheduled for 14.00.

15 people represent the Penza region in the competition, Anna Schupilova, head of information support of the Penza region head EMERCOM department informed PenzaNews agency.
