The Penza region has concluded the results of the all-Russian “Ready for Labor and Defense” (GTO) athletic test complex festival for the Penza region educational institutions. The event was dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory in the Second World War.

According to the finals protocol, Vladislav Krasnov from the Nikolsk area with 331 points was the best in ages 11-12, or the third level of GTO complex, while Zhanna Kuptsova from the Nizhny Lomov area with 395 points won the top in women’s competition.

Valeria Yurmanova, from the Penza school No. 12 earned 438 points in ages 13-15 and ended up the first in the fourth level GTO struggle, while Dmitry Mitkin of the Serdobsk area had no equals in men’s competition: the judges gave him a total of 437 points.
