Penza, 16 July 2015. PenzaNews. A delegation from Mordovia paid a visit to Penza to inspect the hotel complex of the city as part of the preparation campaign for the upcoming 2018 World Cup in Russia.

The officials are investigating the potential of housing some of the football fans and even players at the 2018 World Cup in Penza and the region.

Moreover, the Penza region authorities together with the government of Mordovia prepare a trilateral cooperation agreement project to prepare the hotels and other housing for the event.

According to the plans, the guests and the players who stay in Penza would be able to enjoy guided tours throughout the city with visits of the main objects of the event, such as the regional Philharmonic Hall, “Dom Meyerkholda,” the Savitsky Picture Gallery, and so forth.

The Penza tour companies are involved in preparing the tour program, says the press service of the regional Department of Culture and Archive.
