Evgeny Kuznetsov, Ilya Zakharov win FINA Diving World Cup silver

Penza, 29 July 2015. PenzaNews. Representatives of the Penza region Evgeny Kuznetsov and Ilya Zakharov win silver in 3 meter synchronous diving at FINA Diving World Cup finals held in the evening of Tuesday, July 28.

The athletes yielded the gold medals to the Chinese duo of Cao Yuan and Qin Kai who earned a total of 471.45 points over six attempts.

After leading the list in qualification rounds, Evgeny Kuznetsov and Ilya Zakharov did a mistake in their fourth attempt and earned 459.18 points as a result.

The bronze medals were given to Jack Laugher and Christopher Mears from the UK with 445.20 points, says the press service of the regional sports committee.
