Penza, 1 August 2015. PenzaNews. Elena Danilova, representative of Moscow and the Penza region, and Alexander Bryukhankov who represents the Krasnodar Krai and the Penza region, were the best in individual sprint in the Russian triathlon competition that began on Saturday, August 1, at “Chistye Prudy” hotel complex.

The triathletes had to go through a 750 m swimming race, a 20 km bicycle course, and finish with an 8 km running lane.

In women’s competition, Valentina Zapatrina from St. Petersburg was the second, followed by Lyubov Polyanskaya who represents Moscow and the Yaroslavl region.

In men’s, silver medals were awarded to Vladimir Turbaevsky from the Krasnodar Krai and Denis Vasilyev for St. Petersburg and the Yaroslavl region.
