Penza, 9 August 2015. PenzaNews. The winners of the regional sports contest of civil servants of the Penza region, held in the Olympic Reserve School on Saturday, August 8, have been defined in three groups depending on the staffing levels of public authorities in the region.

Thus, in the first group with the number of employees up to 25 people, the winner is the Penza region Committee for Physical Culture and Sport. The second place is taken by the representatives of the Department for rate regulation and energy efficiency of the region. The third place belongs to the regional management on contractual system regulation and procurement.

In the second group with departments of 26-75 employees, the gold medal was assigned to the Ministry of Construction of the Penza region. The second place went to the Ministry of Education of the region, and the third one to the regional department of veterinary medicine.

In the third group with over 76 people, the government of the Penza region became the best. The regional Ministry of Agriculture became second, the Ministry of Forestry, Hunting and Wildlife of the region took the third place.

All in all, the competitions attended by up to 400 people of 22 teams.

Unlike previous years, the number of sports were increased from 8 to 10. For example, in March they held competition in cross country skiing, the result of which was taken into account in the overall standings.

Also, the program includes athletics, football, street basketball, air rifle shooting, chess, checkers, table tennis, swimming and all-round of the physical and sports set of exercisers, the press service of the Penza region government informs.
