Penza, 20 September 2015. PenzaNews. A traditional annual showcase campaign of sports schools, federations, clubs and more took place on Moskovskaya street in Penza on Saturday, September 19.

Children and adults walking along the street from the Fontannaya square to “Vysshaya Liga” shopping center could learn more about the development of various sports in the region, chat with the sports coaches in person, and ask the timetables for the courses.

The event featured showcase performances of the athletes.

Among the officials present at the event was the Penza city head Victor Kuvaytsev, who gave a short speech to the participants.

“I believe that the numbers of those who choose sports will keep growing today as we create good conditions for that. Obviously, I would like to remind you of the common vision that this will help us be healthier and stronger. And, as you know, those who are strong command greater respect – in all meanings of this word,” he pointed out.

The visitors of the event were also invited to play darts, chess, streetball and paintball.

As PenzaNews agency reported earlier, the annual sports schools was first held in Penza in 2005. Each such event brings over 700 new teenagers into sports schools and clubs.
