Weightlifter Nadezhda Evstiukhina earns fifth place on US World Championship

Penza, 28 November 2015. PenzaNews. Nadezha Evstiukhina, athlete from the Penza region sports education center, was placed fifth in the 2015 IWF World Weightlifting Championship in the US in the category for below 75 kg.

During the competition held in Houston on the night into Saturday, November 28, she lifted a total of 261 kg – 115 kg in fast vertical and 146 kg in slow vertical.

The winner of the competition was Kan Yue from China with 282 kg (127+155). The second place was given to her compatriot Zhon Sim Lim with a total of 280 kg (125+155). The bronze was won by Olga Zubova from Russia, with 276 kg (121+155), says the press service of the Russian Weightlifting Federation.
