Penza to hold women’s junior gymnastics competition “Hopes of Russia”

Penza, 30 November 2015. PenzaNews. The Penza sports palace “Burtasy” will hold the countrywide women’s junior gymnastics competition “Hopes of Russia” on December 2-5.

It will bring together 160 gymnasts from 29 Russian constituent territories who will be representing 45 cities and towns.
The young ladies will compete in programs designed for first-category athletes, candidate masters of sports, and full-fledged masters of sports.
The medals will be awarded in three age groups: born in 2001 or earlier; in 2001-2002; and in 2003-2004.
Natalya Kapitonova, Ulyana Perebinosova, Elizaveta Volodina, Karina Zybaylo and Darya Bazhenova will be representing the Penza region.
Among the honored guests of the event will be the state coach of the Russian national team Valentina Rodionenko, and the head coach of the Russian junior team Olga Bulgakova, says the press service of the sports palace “Burtasy.”
