Penza “Diesel” achieves confident victory against “Zvezda”

Penza, 14 December 2015. PenzaNews. The Penza hockey club “Diesel” has achieved a confident home victory – 3:1 – in the Supreme Hockey League regular championship match against Chekhov “Zvezda” that took place on Sunday, December 13.

The home team was coached by Alexei Vaulin, as Andrei Nikishov had been temporarily suspended.
The governor Ivan Belozertsev and the Penza city head Victor Kuvaytsev came with the fans to support the team.
During the game, Vadim Shutov, Georgy Busarov and Nikita Lukin from “Diesel” successfully scored a goal each.
In his post-game comment, the acting coach of Penza “Diesel” Alexei Vaulin pointed out that his team tried and succeeded in accomplishing the objective.
“I would like to thank them also for the dedicated game of the team. It was easy to see a group of like-minded people – every one of them supporting the rest. We had a solid team today. And, of course, big thanks to the fans that spurred the team forward,” the press service of “Diesel” quotes the coach.
After 31 matches, the Penza team has 32 points and currently holds the 23rd place in the championship ranks.
