Penza “Dizelist” hockey team departs for first away game series in 2016
Penza, 10 January 2016. PenzaNews. The Penza hockey team “Dizelist” in the Youth Hockey League has departed for its first away game series in 2016 on Sunday, January 10.
The players will be going to the Voronezh region where they meet with the local team “Rossosh” on January 11-12. Afterwards, they will visit the youth division of “Lipetsk” to play against them on January 15-16.
The team’s travel list includes a total of 23 hockey players: goalkeepers Maxim Borisov and Petr Smirnov; defensemen Anton Shkuraev, Roman Yermakov, Evgeny Yargaev, Maxim Chigirev, Fedor Solovyev, Vitaly Lyulko and Anton Antonov; and attackers Vasily Moskalev, Evgeny Pyanov, Egor Filin, Maxim Kolmykov, Alexander Dudin, Maxim Chumakov, Dmitry Kiselev, Kirill Kokshon, Nikita Demin, Vladislav Volkov, Denis Shatalov, Maxim Zabulika, Nikita Pushenko and Alexander Solovyev.
They will be playing against tough opponents, says the head coach of “Dizelist” Alexei Vaulin.
“It’s an important away series. The teams are tough. ‘Rossosh’ club is one of the leaders of the competition,” he stressed.
The players underwent an excellent preparation course, and team members established a working atmosphere in their circle, Alexei Vaulin added.
“The friendly match against ‘Mordovia’ was also very beneficial for us, in spite of the loss. Our task right now is to earn as many points as possible. We are aiming for the play-offs in the future. We need to rise as high as possible in the competition ranks to get into the decisive rounds from a higher position,” the press service of the hockey club “Diesel” quotes the head coach.
