Penza, 16 March 2016. PenzaNews. Around 150 athletes will be taking part in the Russian countrywide platform diving competition that will be held at the Penza “Burtasy” sports palace on March 21-27.

The event will be held for junior male and female platform divers born between 2003 and 2006.

The Penza region will be represented by 15 athletes at the countrywide competition: Nika Strokova, Evgenia Timakova, Polina Sayekova, Alina Arefyeva, Yana Bolshakova, Artem Levin, Daniil Koryabkin, Maxim Malofeev, Daniil Belov, Andrei Malashkin, Artem Barashkin, Bogdan Sergunin, Leonid Fedoseev, Alexander Chernyavsky, and Rinat Barzhanov.

The winners of the competition, will join the 2017 Russian national junior team, says the website of the Penza region Ministry of Physical Education and Sports.
