Penza, 23 March 2016. PenzaNews. The forward of the Penza hockey club “Dizelist,” the only player to score – on the 47th minute – during the match against the Voronezh region “Rossosh” that ended up in a loss and a drop out of the Youth Hockey League play-offs for the Penza team, retained the hopes to break the tide of the match until the very last minute.

“They had a power play moment there. We also had many moments, but sadly we failed [to exploit them]. As for the game, I would say that 1:5 was a wrong score. We played the same even game just like in the away matches with them. But back then, the shootouts decided everything: here, it was power play,” David Dumbadze told a PenzaNews reporter after the end of the decisive game.
Answering the question about his emotions during the goal at the score of 0:4, the player explained he felt no emotions as his team was losing with such a disadvantage.
“I thought it was still possible to break the tide of the game, but the opponents stopped us,” David Dumbadze noted.
