Penza gymnasium No. 13 team to represent region in countrywide chess competition

Penza, 10 April 2016. PenzaNews. The team from the multidisciplinary gymnasium No. 13 will be representing the Penza region in the countrywide chess competition “White Rook” that will take place in Sochi on June 1-9.

The junior chess players won the regional “White Rook” competition for school students born in 2002 and later.

They were followed by the team of the Penza modern management technologies lyceum No. 2, and by the Kuznetsk gymnasium No. 1.

The regional competition brought together 10 teams from the Spassk, Kuznetsk, Bekovo, Kameshkir and Nikolsk areas, as well as Penza and Kuznetsk, says the website of the Penza region Ministry of Physical Education and Sports.
