Penza rugby players to participate in international tournament in Japan

Penza, 25 April 2016. PenzaNews. Alexei Bespalov and Pavel Kuraev from the Penza rugby club Imperia will take part in Sanix World Rugby Youth Tournament in Fukuoka, Japan, from April 28 to May 5.

Penza rugby players to participate in international tournament in Japan

The athletes will join the U19 Russian national team for rugby players under 19.

The tournament will pit together a total of 16 teams, coming from Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, South Korea, New Zealand, South Africa and Russia, as well as eight prefectures of Japan.

The Russian team will enter the tournament at a group stage, where it will face two Japanese teams, while the fourth member of the group is yet to be determined, says the the press service of the Penza Imperia.
