Penza, 4 May 2016. PenzaNews. The Penza region will receive 21,542,700 rubles of subsidies from the federal budget to improve conditions for physical education and sports in village schools.

The distribution of funding for a total amount of over 1.6 billion rubles between 69 regions will be made in accordnace with the Russian government decree signed by the Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.

The subsidies will be allocated under the state program “Development of Education” that is scheduled to continue through 2020.

According to the notes, the funds will be used for sports hall repairs, transformation of unused classrooms into sports halls, development of school sports clubs and additional equipment and installations for outdoors sports fields.
