In addition, the contract with the forward David Dumbadze is still ongoing, as it is due to run out in 2017.
At the same time, Nikolai Bogomolov, Sergei Ilminsky, Nikita Krotikov, Evgeny Nesterov, Dmitry Sorokin, Alexander Delnov, Dmitry Kolgotin, Denis Tsyganov, Nikita Lukin, Sergei Chistyakov and Alexei Yakhin have left “Diesel.”
According to the club’s executive director Vadim Bogatskov, they are leaving the team for a variety of reasons.
“Some are advancing to the KHL [the Kontinental Hockey League]. Some did not like our proposals on the new contracts, while other still were deemed unsuitable by our coaching staff after the training camp,” he said.
The club continues to work on the team roster and hold talks with players and their representatives, says the press service of the Penza “Diesel.”
