Penza swimmer Nadezhda Bazhina wins European championship gold

Penza, 10 May 2016. PenzaNews. Nadezhda Bazhina from Penza together with Victor Minibaev from Moscow won the team competition gold during the first day of the European swimming championship that began in London on Monday, May 9.

The two athletes earned a score of 411.5 points for their performance.

They were followed by Yulia Prokopchik and Alexander Gorshkovozov from Ukraine with 396.4 points.

The third place in the event was taken by Georgia Word and Mathew Lee from the UK with 352.2 points, says the website of the Penza region sports education center.
