Penza, 26 May 2016. PenzaNews. The Penza athlete Ildar Yuskaev has won the silver medal of the European gymnastics competition held in Bern on Wednesday, May 25, as part of the Russian national team.

He joined the group of other junior athletes – Andrei Makolov, Alexander Chicherov, Maxim Sinichkin, and Sergei Naydin; together, they earned a total of 252.061 points.

The leader of the competition was the United Kingdom team with 253.436 points, while the Swiss national team – with 249.959 points – received the third place, says the press service of the N.A. Lavrova Penza regional children and youth sports school.
