The national team’s head coach Yuri Krasnobaev assembled 29 players from a variety of local teams.

This is not the first time Vadim Sorokin is assembled for the national team training: he first joined the Russian team in 2015, where he won the European rugby championship for players under 18. At the same time, Maxim Gumnov is taking part in such events for the first time.

Moreover, another student of the Penza rugby school – Vladimir Aksenov of the Krasnodar “Kuban” – was also assembled to Noginsk.

The training matches of the Russian U20 national team against the UK county joint team will take place on June 5 and June 8 at the “Slava” stadium in Moscow, says the press service of the Penza “Imperia.”
