Penza, 10 June 2016. PenzaNews. The Penza swimmers Anastasia Fesikova and Victoria Andreeva won a gold and a silver medal respectively during the second day of Mare Nostrum tournament that recently finished in France.

Anastasia Fesikova was the best in 100 meter backstroke with 1 minute 0.50 seconds, leaving behind Kirsty Kovetry from Zimbabwe and Natsumi Sakai from Japan who split the second place with 1 minute 0.94 seconds.

Victoria Andreeva came second in 400 meter mixed stroke with 4 minutes 40.19 seconds.

She was surpassed by Katrinke Long from Hungary with 4 minutes 36 seconds, and, in turn, surpassed Beatrice Gomez Kortez from Spain, who finished in 4 minutes 41.47 seconds.
