Three Penza divers to take part in Rio de Janeiro Olympics

Penza, 8 July 2016. PenzaNews. Nadezhda Bazhina, Ilya Zakharov and Evgeny Kuznetsov, representing the Penza region, joined the Russian diving team to take part in the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.

The former trainee of the Penza region Olympic reserve school Nikita Shleikher, representing Tatarstan, was also included in the Russian team.
In total, the list published by the International Swimming Federation (Fina) includes 136 athletes from 29 countries: Australia, Austria, Belarus, Brazil, Hungary, Venezuela, Great Britain, Germany, Egypt, Ireland, Italy, Canada, China, Colombia, Malaysia, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Puerto Rico, Russia, North and South Korea, the USA, Ukraine, France, Croatia, South Africa, Jamaica, Japan.
Nadezhda Bazhina will fight for a medal in 3-meter springboard diving.
Evgeny Kuznetsov and Ilya Zakharov will perform in 3-meter springboard individual and synchronized diving.
