Penza, 18 July 2016. PenzaNews. The Penza athlete Victoria Andreeva took the third place in the 100 meters butterfly on the first day of final of the Russian Swimming Cup, which is held in the town of Ruza in the Moscow region.

The swimmer finished with the result of 59.31 seconds.

The Penza athlete was surpassed by Svetlana Chimrova from Moscow, who took the first place, setting the new record of Russia – 57.78 seconds, and the representative of Novosibirsk Natalia Lovtsova, finishing the distance with 58.65 seconds.

On the second day of the competition, Victoria Andreeva will fight for the victory in the 100 meters free style and 50 meters breaststroke.

In addition, the Penza region in the final of the Russian Swimming Cup is represented by Alina Fomina, Yulia Larina, Anna Chertukhina, Daria Bukina, Regina Pugacheva, Ksenia Laktionova and Yana Udalova.
