Penza, 1 August 2016. PenzaNews. Representatives of Penza and Zarechny won awards in individual and pair competitions of the Sniper-2016 Russian countrywide darts tournament.

Roman Obukhov from Penza won the men’s individual competition and achieved the third place paired with Nikolai Mikhaylin from Moscow.

At the same time, Alexander Mukovnin from Zarechny won the first place in pair with Alexei Kadochnikov from Tver.

Also notably, during the opening event of the tournament, Vadim Arefyev from Zarechny proposed to Lidia Koltsova from the Moscow Darts Federation, who, according to the event’s main coach judge Yuri Chernousov, will be representing Zarechny starting from the next year.

Overall, the event brought together around 80 competitors from 15 regions of Russia.

In particular, the tournament attracted Russian darts champions, members of the national team, winners of international and paneuropean competitions, and men’s and women’s World Masters of Darts, says the Zarechny city public relations department.
