“There will be an international tournament in Sochi this autumn […] and then the main one – the main Russian countrywide competition,” he noted.

According to him, Penza will send one or two athletes for the tournament, and three for the competition.

“In order to increase our rating, we need more participation in countrywide and international tournaments. Athletes earn levels only through rating. In particular, Andrei Tersintsev still has some way to go, he is only a Candidate [for Masters of Sports],” Vladimir Novikov clarified.
