Penza, 14 August 2016. PenzaNews. Russian women's team in swimming, which includes Yuliya Efimova, Svetlana Chimrova, Veronika Popova and Penza athlete Anastasia Fesikova, took sixth place at the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro in the combined relay 4×100 meters.

The athletes overcame the distance in 3 minutes 55.66 seconds, which was a new record for Russia.

The leaders of the relay are the US team with 3 minutes 53.13 seconds.

Silver went to Australia — 3 minutes 55 seconds, Denmark took bronze with 3 minutes 55.01 seconds.
