Penza, 15 August 2016. PenzaNews. The representative of the Penza sports club “Sura” Nikolai Kornev came sixth at the World Youth Championship in motocross, which took place on the track of the All-Russia Children's Center “Orlionok” in the Krasnodar Krai.

The athlete performed in 85 cc class.

In both races, held on Sunday, August 14, he finished seventh, and in the end on the total he took the sixth place in the general classification.

The victory in this class belongs to Austrian René Hofer, the second place — Estonian Meiko Vettik, and the third — Russian athlete Maksim Kraev, who used to represent “Sura.”

Kirill Leyman and Stanislav Myatlin, also representing the Penza region, failed to show good results.
