Penza, 19 August 2016. PenzaNews. The honoring ceremony dedicated to the winner of the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro Denis Ablyazin and his coach Sergei Starkin will be held in Penza on Monday, August 22.

The fan meeting to congratulate the gymnast, get his autograph and take a picture with him is scheduled at 17.30 near the Lunacharsky Regional Drama Theater.

The event will continue at 19:00 in the palace of sports “Burtasy” gathering Penza residents, athletes and officials, the press service of the regional Ministry of Sports informs.

As PenzaNews reported earlier, Denis Ablyazin won three medals at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.

In the team all-around on August 8, the Russian team in gymnastics including Denis Ablyazin took the second place.

Two more medals were gained by the Penza athlete literally within an hour on August 15 — in exercises on rings he won the bronze medal of the Olympics, and in the vault he took silver.
