Among them were relatives and friends of the deceased. Also at the entrance to the ice arena Roman Ermakov’s teammates gathered.

When the coffin was taken to the place of the funeral ceremony, the gathered lined up to say goodbye to him.

Many brought fresh flowers that left at the feet of the hockey player. One of the gathered put on Roman Yermakov’s chest a yellow-blue sweater — a part of hockey wear with the symbol of the club.

Many of those present, including hockey players, could not hold back tears.

When the people paid tribute to Roman Ermakov, the players lined up in a live-corridor, and then the ritual service staff raised the coffin and carried it to the car.

Hockey players bade farewell to their teammate banging hockey sticks on the ground, and many present — with applause.

As PenzaNews reported earlier, Roman Ermakov died on Saturday morning, September 24. The cause of death of the 21-year-old hockey player was the brain tumor. They diagnosed the disease in June. The athlete underwent several operations, but despite the best efforts of doctors, his life could not be saved.
