Penza, 2 October 2016. PenzaNews. Penza athlete Darya Drachan won a ticket to the championship of Russia in judo in the end of the district competitions among girls and boys under the age of 18.

“500 judokas from 14 regions of the Volga region competed in different weight groups. Daria Drachan won a bronze medal in an intense fight,” President of Judo Federation of the Penza region Eduard Kopylov told PenzaNews.

He said that the championship of the Volga Federal District was held in the framework of the 30 th All-Russian tournament for the prizes of KAMAZ in Naberezhnye Chelny on September 29-30.

Eduard Kopylov thanked the coach Vasily Klimov, who trained the athlete for qualifying competitions.

Judo Championship of Russia will be held in Orenburg on October 20-23.
