Penza, 2 October 2016. PenzaNews. Penza athlete Natalia Afremova ranked eighth in the fourth, penultimate stage of the World Cup BMX which ended in the US on Saturday, October 1.

Gold went to the representative of the Netherlands Laura Smulders. Saya Sakakibara of Australia came second.

Yaroslava Bondarenko from Russia won bronze.

As the press service of the Russian Cycling Federation told PenzaNews, this result allowed the girl to move to the sixth position in the ranking of World Cup 2016.

The final stage of the competition will also be held in the United States on October 8-9.
