Penza, 8 October 2016. PenzaNews. Swimmers from the Penza region won seven medals of different value on the second day of the domestic competitions – the Volga Federal District championship and competition.

As the website of the water sports palace “Sura” says, Alexander Kharlanov won gold in 200 m butterfly, and Maria Astashkina – in 200 m breaststroke during the championship. Egor Pavlov became the winner of the 200 m butterfly race and got a silver medal in 50 m backstroke at the competition.

Artem Lazarev finished second in 200 m butterfly race of the championship, and Roman Larin was third in medley swimming.

In addition, the men’s team of Ilya Eremin, Sergei Patrakov, Artem Lazarev and Roman Larin became medal holders in 4x200 m freestyle relay, taking the third place.

As PenzaNews reported earlier, on the first day of the competition the Penza swimmers also won seven medals.
