Penza, 22 November 2016. PenzaNews. 20 teams from different cities will take part in group exercises in the rhythmic gymnastics Russian Cup, which will be held in the “Burtasy” Palace of Sports on November 26-27.

As it was reported by the regional Specialized Children and Youth School of Olympic Reserve in gymnastics named after N. Lavrova, athletes of 2001 year of birth and older will compete for victory under the program of masters of sports.

“The athletes, who took from 1st to 24th place at the Russian Championship, will take part in the individual programme. Among them are the national team members Dina Averina and Arina Averina, Ekaterina Selezneva, Ekaterina Ogurtsova, and Vera Polyakova. Gymnasts of 2001 year of birth and older will compete in sets under the program of candidates in masters of sports. The trainees of the Penza gymnastics school will participate in the competition: Darya Zaytseva, Kristina Davydova, Polina Khonina as well as the Penza group programme team,” the sports school explained.

The opening ceremony will take place on Saturday, November 26, at 15.00.
