Penza, 12 January 2017. PenzaNews. Penza region Platform Diving Championship will take place at the premises of the “Burtasy” Palace of Sports on January 19-20.

Athletes of the second sport grade are allowed to take part in the Championship. They will compete for victory under the program of masters of sports.

The athletes will compete in 3m springboard, 5m, 7m, and 10m diving tower, in individual programme, and in synchronous platform diving.

Women will have to perform five dives and men – six dives.

Relying on the tournament results, it will be possible to form the Penza region team for participation in the Russian Cup.

The opening ceremony of the competition is scheduled on January 19, the press service of the Ministry of Physical Culture and Sports of the Penza region informs.
