Athlete from Penza region wins Russian Championship in athletics among athletes with hearing impairment

Penza, 27 February 2017. PenzaNews. The trainee of the sports training centre of the Penza region, the international master of sports Alexei Sobin won a gold medal at the Russian Championship in athletics among athletes with hearing impairment, which was held in Saransk on Monday, February 27.

Alexei Sobin clocked a time of 9 minutes and 8.48 seconds at the 3km distance.
On Sunday, February 26, the athlete occupied the third place at the 1.5km distance having clocked a time of 4 minutes and 5.61 seconds, the website of the sports training centre reports.
Last year Alexei Sobin won a gold medal at the 3 km distance at the Russian Championship in athletics (among athletes with hearing impairment), which was also held in Mordovia.
