Penza, 27 March 2017. PenzaNews. The student of the sports training centre of the Penza region Anastasia Gorbunova occupied the sixth place in the World Triathlon Cup stage in Spain, which was held on Sunday, March 26.

The first and second places were occupied by athletes from the United Kingdom Jessica Lirimont and Lucy Hall clocking a time of 2 hours 1 minute and 29 seconds and 2 hours 3 minutes and 25 seconds respectively. Carmen Gomez from Spain was third with the result of 2 hours 4 minutes and 15 seconds.

Among men Rostislav Pevtsov from Azerbaijan was first, Adrien Briffod from Switzerland – second and Uxio Abuin Ares from Spain – third. The Penza triathlete Alexander Bryukhankov did not finish, the sports news agency “Ves sport” reports.
