Penza, 14 April 2017. PenzaNews. Table tennis championship among athletes with spinal cord injury waw held at the premises of the sports and recreation center "Tsentralny" in Penza on Friday, April 14.

As it was reported by the chief judge of the competition Alexander Talyshev, nine athletes under the age of 18 and twelve – over the age of 18 took part in the championships.
Winners of the competition were defined in several categories depending on health disorders.
Anton Ionkin became the winner among men in the 6th class, the second place was occupied by Alexander Goncharov, the third – by Alexander Sapyriaev.
In the 8th class the gold medal went to Oleg Gorbunov, the silver – to Vladimir Akimov, and the bronze – to Dmitry Grishin.
Boris Gorshkov became the winner in the 11th class, Dmitry Dutov and Evgeny Elliaev occupied the second and the third places correspondently.
Tatyana Alexeeva became the winner among women in the 6th class, and Yulia Lyamkina – in the 9th class.
The first place in the 11th class was occupied by Daria Shkryabina, the second – by Oksana Zorina, and the third – by Olesya Arbuzova.
