"He was summoned as a witness," the interlocutor said.

However, she did not specify what the conducted investigative action is connected with.

"The investigator works within the framework of the criminal case. It is not our criminal case," the representative of the investigative department of the Investigative Committee of Russia explained.

As it was reported earlier, Denis Ablyazin posted a photo of the summon according to which he was obliged to appear in the Zheleznodorozhny area investigative department of the regional Office of Investigations under the Russian Investigative Committee on Tuesday morning, April 18, on Instagram.

Subsequently, the athlete deleted the photo and all comments to it.
