Penza, 8 May 2017. PenzaNews. Andrei Tersintsev from the Penza region showed a good result at the Russian Chess Championship among athletes with spinal cord injury that was held in Volgograd.

"Andrei Tersintsev occupied the first place among the disabled in wheelchairs," the chairman of the regional federation for disabled athletes “Povolzhye” and head of the regional sports federation for people with locomotor injuries Vladimir Novikov told PenzaNews on Monday, May 8.

He added that in the overall standing the chess player from the Penza region was the third among 42 participants.
