Penza, 14 May 2017. PenzaNews. The Penza judoka Roman Kulygin occupied the first position in the extra lightweight category at the All-Russian Championship among young people under the age of 18, which was held in Magadan on Saturday, May 13.

As the President of Judo Federation of the Penza region Eduard Kopylov told PenzaNews, Magadan played host to over 300 participants, as well as famous specialists who hold workshops for coaches and athletes.

"On May 14, Penza judokas will have to take the tatami within the framework of the open regional tournament "Holiday of Judo" among children aged 11-14. Over 35 teams from Russia and the near abroad will compete for victory," the interlocutor added.
