Penza, 14 May 2017. PenzaNews. Mass orienteering competitions "Russian Azimuth" will be held in Penza on Saturday, May 22.

Everyone can take part in the tournament. Athletes will be divided into 16 categories depending on sex and age.

The competitions will start near the sports and entertainment complex "Diesel-Arena". Registration of participants will start on the day of competition at 8.30. Opening ceremony is scheduled for 11.45 and at 12.00 the athletes will toe the starting line.

"Russian Azimuth" is one of the biggest orienteering tournaments in the world. This event, which is held in different regions of the Russian Federation, became the same famous as such sports mass competitions as "Ski Track of Russia", and "Cross of Nations".
