Penza, 15 June 2017. PenzaNews. Over 130 people took part in the open city festival of Nordic Walking, which was held at a cycling, skiing and roller-skating track in the Akhuny area in Penza on Thursday, June 15. This was reported by the press service of the mayor's office.

"The length of the route equalled to 4.4 kilometres," the city administration specified.

The press service noted that all participants of the event, many of whom were representatives of the older generation, were awarded with diplomas.

"In addition, when all participants finished the distance, some individuals were awarded in the nominations ‘The youngest participant’, ‘The most experienced participant’, ‘The best amateur talent groups performance’ and ‘The most unusual costume’," the Penza administration added.
