On the final day of the competitions, Egor Pavlov was second in the event 200 m butterfly having lost the final touch in a persistent struggle to an Italian athlete.

At the same time, the result shown by the Penza swimmer at the festival was almost 4 seconds better than his previous best result shown at a Russian championship.

In the finals of the mixed medley relay 4×100 m the Russian national team won the gold medal, and Egor Pavlov as a participant of a preliminary race also received a medal of the highest standard, the website of the Penza school of Olympic reserve in water sports reports.
