Vice-mayor: Reconstruction of the stadium "Zenit" in Penza is completed by 80%

Penza, 22 September 2017. PenzaNews. Over 80% of works on the reconstruction of the stadium "Zenit" in Penza, which is expected to become a training ground for one of the teams participating in the FIFA World Cup in 2018, were completed. This was reported by the vice mayor Magomed Agamagomedov.

"In accordance with the approved schedule of works, by the end of October we will finish all works connected with the communications, the facade of the building and its glazing, the boiler house, the football field and its artificial coating so that in November and December we deal with issues of testing and commissioning of the equipment and eliminate defects if there are any," he said to journalist during the off-site meeting that was held at the stadium "Zenit" on Friday, September 22.

Magomed Agamagomedov noted that it was planned to complete installation of video surveillance around the building perimeter by the end of October.

"The equipment has been ordered, the cables have already been delivered. In addition, by the middle of October we will install modular type security checkpoint," the vice-mayor explained.

Answering to the question whether the technical plan of the facility security system had been altered after a bomb replica had been brought to the stadium he stressed that the document remained unchanged.

"We decided to fully implement the project that had passed the expertise," Magomed Agamagomedov summed up.
