As it was reported by the press service of the Artistic Gymnastics Federation of Russia, his performance at the competitions in Montreal had been assessed by judges at 15.333 points.

Greek Eleftherios Petrounias became a winner in this event with the result of 15.433 points. The third place was occupied by Chinese Yang Liu with 15.266 points.

Commenting on the competitions to journalists, Denis Ablyazin said that competing only in one event he had no right to make a mistake.

According to him, the decisive element was a dismount.
