Penza chess player occupies 20th place at World Championship

Penza, 14 October 2017. PenzaNews. As a result of the 3rd World Chess Championship for Disabled, which finished in Dresden on Friday, October 13, Andrei Tersintsev from the Penza region occupied the 20th position.

In the last, seventh round of the competition, Andrei Tersintsev lost a game to a competitor from Germany and went down from the 14th position of the championship table to the 20th one. It was his second defeat in the championship – previously Andrei Tersintsev had lost to Evgeny Suslov.

The Polish chess player Marcin Tazbir became the winner, the second place was occupied by Oliver Müller, and the third one – by Alexei Pakhomov.
