Penza governor walks onto tennis court within holiday tournament
Penza, 26 November 2017. PenzaNews. The governor of the Penza region Ivan Belozertsev became a participant of the tournament devoted to Missile Troops and Artillery Day, which started at the premises of the tennis centre Victoria on Saturday, November 25.
On the court, he competed together with Yuri Dvoryaninov, head of the executive committee of the United Russia regional department.
As it was reported by the press service of the Penza City Duma, the acting head of Penza Ivan Krasnov, the deputies Denis Zhelikhovsky and Sergei Kulichkov also participated in the two-day competitions.
The Minister of Sports of the Penza region Grigory Kabelsky and the general director of the LLC Selskaya Zdravnitsa Alexander Plyushch were among those who came to support the tennis players on the first day of the competition.
The tournament results will be summed up on Sunday, November 26.
As it was reported before, on October 30, 2015, at a press conference the governor of the Penza region Ivan Belozertsev said that the tight working schedule prevented him from playing tennis as often as he had done before. He explained that he had become addicted to the sport when he had had more free time and worked in the Legislative Assembly of the region.
At the same time, in 2016 Ivan Belozertsev and the head of the executive committee of the United Russia regional department Yuri Dvoryaninov became winners in the category "100+" of the tennis tournament among veterans of sport conducted on the Defender's Day.
